Who we are

Rod Safety Group (RSG) was founded on the belief that every worker deserves to go home safe at the end of the day. With more than 10 years of experience in occupational health and safety and board certification as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), RSG provides the knowledge, resources, and support companies need to build safer, stronger workplaces.

David Rodriguez holds the Certified Safety Professional (CSP) credential from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals - the highest standard of professional certification in the safety field.

The CSP is not a training card or a course completion. It requires a bachelor's degree, four years of professional safety experience where safety is the primary function of the role, an accredited prerequisite credential, and passing a proctored examination. Certificants must complete continuing education every five years to stay current.

For contractors, that means the person walking your site is credentialed to the same standard as the safety directors at national GCs - without the salary, benefits, and overhead of a full-time hire.

RSG’s background spans multiple industries, giving us a broad perspective and the ability to adapt safety solutions to different environments. We’ve supported construction projects ranging from residential builds to large-scale commercial developments, provided safety oversight in general industry and manufacturing settings, and worked with renewable energy companies to keep solar projects safe and compliant.
